Skills
Everyone has their own preferences for which weapon or shield to use and how to enhance it. Before making a Strong weapon, some players run with an Intone, while others prefer a Purple. With an Intone, it’s straightforward—you craft it, buy it, or obtain it as loot. But a Purple can be made from a White item, and sometimes this is cheaper than buying a ready-made one.
There are three ways to obtain an ability:
- 1. Buy it at the auction
- 2. After your race captures a chip at the CV, abilities drop from it along with other loot
- 3. Obtain it from a weapon (for example, you need a Staff [Wounding], but you got a Spear [Wounding])
Let’s take a closer look at method #3.
The number of ability trophies required for insertion, or whether it is possible to obtain them, depends on the level of the weapon/shield:
To extract an ability, you will need:
- Any weapon with the required property
- Separator (can be purchased from a merchant)
- Talic of Oblivion
The ability is obtained from the hero and costs 10k.
When extracting a property, there is a chance that you may fail and lose a random item.
To insert an ability, you will need:
- 1. Abilities in the required quantity
- 2. White weapon into which you plan to insert the ability
- 3. Assembly Tool (can be purchased from a merchant)
- 4. Lilac Shard A
- 5. The required Talic
The required Talic depends on the ability, and it differs for weapons and shields.
For Shields:
For Weapons:
Abilities are inserted by the hero for 10k
Also, the success rate is not 100%. If the insertion fails, you will randomly lose an item. Abilities cannot be inserted into throwing knives.
