Item Crafting

Item Crafting

Before creating any item, you need to think about which main and auxiliary materials you will need. Materials include processed ore and resources dropped by monsters. The materials required depend on the type of item you want to craft.

Once you have prepared all the necessary materials, you can buy a crafting tool kit from a merchant. To open the crafting window, right-click the tool icon stored in your inventory. Select the item you want to create. The quality of the crafted item will vary depending on your crafting skill level.

Item Crafting Steps

Bullet Making Tool

Purchase a tool kit from the NPC Merchant that sells “Weapon & Shield Crafting Tools,” “Launcher Crafting Tools,” and “Armor Crafting Tools.” For example, if you want to craft a weapon or a shield, you need to buy the “Weapon & Shield Crafting Tools.” If you want to craft a launcher, you need “Launcher Crafting Tools,” and similarly for armor. Use the appropriate tool in your inventory, and the item crafting window will appear.

Item List
Choose the item you want to craft, and a list of required materials with their quantities will appear on the screen. Once all necessary materials are prepared, click the “Create” button and the item will be crafted.

Creating Ammunition:

Find the ammo-crafting tool in your inventory and right-click it. Click the type of ammunition you want to create, and you will see the list of required materials at the bottom of the screen. If a material name is highlighted in red, it means you either don’t have it in your inventory or don’t have enough of it. All standard crafting materials can be purchased from NPCs selling crafting tools, and some materials can be obtained from monsters. Once you have collected all necessary materials, click the “Create” button. If crafting fails — don’t worry, it happens sometimes. Every crafting action in RFO has a certain chance of failure. The higher your crafting level is, the lower the chance of failure when crafting low-level items.
