Interaction with Players
You can interact with any player of your race in various ways. To do this, click on the player with the left mouse button while holding the "Ctrl" key. If done correctly, a special menu will appear:
The following functions are now available to you:
- send a private message (PM), i.e. the nickname of this player will automatically appear in your chat so you do not have to type it manually.
- propose a trade (exchange), i.e. open the trade window where you can perform trading operations or simply show an item without transferring it.
- invite to a party, i.e. join the player into your party (maximum 8 people).
- join a guild, i.e. submit an application to join a Guild.
- propose friendship, i.e. add this player to your friends list (if they agree).
- follow the player, i.e. your character will run after them exactly repeating their movements.
- the interaction menu can be used during combat by clicking on your wounded character anywhere.
Let's take a closer look at these options:
You can send a PM to any player. If they do not answer, there may be several reasons:
- the player is AFK, meaning they stepped away from the computer or minimized the game;
- your nickname is too hard to type without knowing how it is spelled;
- the chat is full of messages and the player simply didn’t notice yours;
- you are in their ignore list;
- other reasons.
Ignore is a great feature that allows you to forget about an unpleasant person. After adding someone to ignore, you will no longer see their messages in most chats (except, for example, guild chat). Besides adding nicknames to ignore, you can also remove them from the list. Currently, the maximum size of the ignore list is only 5 pages. To manage your ignore list, press the B key, then select the Ignore tab.
To ignore someone, click the Add button and type their nickname. To remove someone, press the Delete button after selecting their nickname with the left mouse button.
Trading
Trading and exchanging items are possible only within your own race. For example, Bellato cannot trade with Cora or Accretia. If you propose a trade, the player may accept or decline. If they accept, the trade window will open:
Everything here is simple and intuitive. The only thing to pay attention to is the money. To transfer money, click on the zero of the desired currency and type the amount. When everything is ready, click the lock icon to confirm the exchange, and when the other player also clicks the lock, press Accept. You can cancel the trade at any moment by closing the window using the X button in the top-right corner.
Party (Group)
To create a party, invite someone to join you. If you are the party leader, you can invite players to your party. If you want to join an existing party, then in the interaction menu with the party leader you will see the option “Join” instead of “Invite”.
As a party leader, you can:
- Transfer leadership to any party member (necessary, for example, if you want to leave the party)
- Change loot distribution rules (everyone, leader only, or round-robin)
- Kick someone from the party
Note that the party leader can invite players whose level difference from the leader is no more than 10. For example, level 30 cannot be in the same party as level 3.
It is possible to invite a player to a party from a distance. To do this, type in the chat: @Party <character name>. The player will receive a party invitation. The cost of one invitation is one Blue Powder.
Joining a Guild
To join a guild, find a Guild representative and select the corresponding option in the interaction menu. Your application will be forwarded to all online Senators and Managers, who will decide whether to accept you. If you are already in a guild, this function will not be available (highlighted in red).
Friends
Adding a player to your friends list is similar to adding to ignore, but with some differences:
- - you can type the nickname manually or use the interaction menu,
- - the player decides whether they want to be on your list,
- - you can always see the friend's location if they are online,
- - you can send a PM by selecting their nickname and clicking the PM button,
- - if the player removed you from their friend list, they will always appear offline to you.
You can view your friends list by pressing the B key.
Follow
Following a player makes sense when you go AFK. However, you should ask the player for permission first. If the player you follow is killed, teleports, or is not in your party and uses invisibility, the following stops. The player being followed cannot detach you directly. Generally, this function is useful in specific situations and for lazy players.
