Chip War

Chip War

Participation Requirements

Any character who has reached level 25 can participate in the Mine War (CW). Characters below level 25 can also participate in CW, but they will not be able to attack other races' chips and will not receive the special quest.

Event Schedule

CW takes place 3 times a day — at 06:00, 14:00, and 22:00 Moscow time. CW lasts until one of the races achieves victory.

Location

CW takes place in the Crag Mines, which can be accessed via teleport from almost any location. The Crag Mines are roughly triangular, with each vertex occupied by a race's chip, and in the center — a place leading to tunnels to the central shaft.

Objective

The goal of CW is to gain control over the Keeper guarding the central shaft for safe ore extraction under protection.

Chip

Each of the three races' chips has a significant amount of HP. When a chip is destroyed, it drops a large number of various items, including weapons, armor, and properties. Only players of the victorious race can pick up these items. The race that wins the Mine War starts the next CW with a reduced HP of their chip, determined by the remaining HP from the previous CW. HP of the chips of the other two races does not change.

Mine Chip

Chip Guards

Each race's chip is surrounded by several dozen guards. These high-level units have strong attacks but only 1 HP. They drop scanners – Spiritual Reading Devices (SRD).

Special Quest

An hour before the Mine War starts, all players of level 25 and above receive a message offering teleportation to the mines. By clicking "Ok", you will be automatically transported to your race's teleport in the mines (movement is possible only once; after the war ends, teleportation is no longer possible).

At the start of CW, all players level 25 and above receive a special quest. To complete the special quest, it is necessary to pick up SRDs dropped by the chip guards. One SRD is enough to complete the quest; additional SRDs provide no advantage. Only SRDs picked up during the current CW count. To save inventory space, deposit SRDs in the store.

Victory and Defeat Conditions

To win, it is necessary to destroy another race's chip. Victory is awarded to the race whose representative dealt the last hit to the chip. All players of that race who completed the special quest receive 2,000 status points and 50,000 gold. The Keeper will be friendly to members of that race.

The race whose chip was destroyed is considered the loser. All of its level 25+ members present in the game at the moment of chip destruction lose 2,500 status points regardless of location. The Keeper will be hostile to all members of that race.

The third race is considered to have failed the mission, which does not grant any bonuses or penalties. The Keeper is also hostile to members of that race.

After destroying a chip, the player who dealt the last hit becomes the chip bearer, receiving a special quest — to protect the artifact and deliver it to the central mine within 2 hours. This affects the duration during which the defeated race will extract ore. The longer the term, the lower the extraction rate. In case of death, the chip bearer retains their aura (and status bonus) until the next CW begins.

If within 2 hours 50 minutes no chip is destroyed, a draw is declared. In this case, the Keeper will be hostile to players of all races.

Keeper

The Mine Keeper resides in the very center of the shaft. Friendly or hostile behavior of the Keeper towards each race is determined by the results of the last CW.

Mine Keeper

Altar Keeper

When the winner and losers are determined, the Altar Keeper appears, who can be attacked by enemies for 30 minutes. The Keeper's HP is 1/5 of the remaining HP of the winning race's chip. During these 30 minutes, the Keeper is inactive and does not attack players. If the Keeper does not die within 30 minutes, its HP is restored and it will protect the victorious race. Players who did not complete the special quest will not be able to extract ore. The Keeper will destroy players of other races. If the war ends without a winner, no race can attack the Keeper.

The Keeper becomes hostile to all races an hour before CW, disappears 10 minutes before the start, and reappears a few minutes after CW ends. During CW, any race can extract ore, but they must take care of their own protection.

Ore Extraction Time

The maximum ore extraction time for the victorious race is 7 hours. Actual drilling time depends on various conditions:

  • CW + Altar Keeper inactivity + Base drilling time = 3 hours.
  • The less time spent on points 1 and 2, the more time remains for drilling.
  • If the chip bearer successfully delivers the chip within 10 minutes, drilling time increases by 1 more hour.

Ore extraction time formula:
3 hours + up to 3 hours depending on remaining HP + 1 hour for successful chip delivery = maximum 7 hours

Positive and Negative Effects on Races

At the end of the Keeper's inactivity, all races receive positive or negative effects depending on the CW outcome and the Keeper's inactivity period. Effects last until the next CW, and remain after logging out and back in.

The strength of effects varies depending on the number of consecutive wins/losses.

Positive Effects:

Hero Defense (victory, SRD collected):

  • Level 1 – attack +5%, defense +5%
  • Level 2 – attack +10%, defense +10%
  • Level 3 – attack +15%, defense +15%

Sign of Victory (victory, SRD not collected):

  • Level 1 – attack +5%
  • Level 2 – attack +10%
  • Level 3 – attack +15%

Negative Effects:

Mark of Defeat (defeat, SRD collected):

  • Level 1 – defense -5%
  • Level 2 – defense -10%
  • Level 3 – defense -15%

Seal of Shame (defeat, SRD not collected):

  • Level 1 – attack -5%, defense -5%
  • Level 2 – attack -7%, defense -10%
  • Level 3 – attack -15%, defense -15%

If the Keeper is destroyed, positive and negative effects are not applied.
