Race Features Description

The Holy Alliance of Cora is a theocratic civilization whose history is full of religious wars, periods of "witch hunts," and constant reformations. Divided for centuries by civil wars into dozens of factions, cults, and sects, modern Corites are united by an indivisible faith in Daisem, the Creator of All Things, who transformed Oblivion into Perfection. The strength of the entire civilization and the exceptional devotion of the Corites to their cause are based on the Dark Power – the greatest and most beautiful gift of Daisem to his children.

Idea and Faith are the only things that exist in the lives of the Corites. Faith forbids marriage, as there may be a conflict of priorities between family and God. Idea does not allow one to renounce or abandon the war for Daisem’s cause. All this people needs is to maintain the balance of All Things created by Daisem. Any method is suitable for this – from bribery and secret assassinations to the complete destruction of "heretics" in the fire of Weaving energies. Daisem created Nature to be beautiful and cruel. So he created his children as well. Ideologies of other peoples sharply contradict the faith of the Corites. Accretians, who destroy everything in their path, turning pristine nature into fuel to sustain their defiled lives, or Bellato, trampling the earth with their disgusting machines – all of them must die for the glory of Daisem. For the Corites, nothing in the Universe is more important than Daisem and his ideas. To earn His blessing, to be worthy of His gaze – that is what a Corite lives for. In their "crusade," surrounded by the wonders of the newborn God, the Corites have long forgotten where it all began.

The Cora society is both religious and militaristic: the inhabitants are representatives of dark forces and warriors of the Holy Alliance. Warriors are recruited from all castes, except the lowest caste, whose duty is to provide the Cora army with all necessary resources. Thanks to special abilities – Recall Abilities (abilities to summon things) related to dark magic – the inhabitants of Cora can create something out of nothing. Therefore, in terms of supply, the Cora army has no equal. On the other hand, the black magic abilities possessed by priest-soldiers allow them to carry out attacks and defend themselves effectively. Even members of the lowest caste can achieve higher ranks – becoming a Dark Priest and using their magical abilities for the benefit of society.

Summoning Abilities – the ability to teleport people and objects from one location to another using magical powers.

According to the caste system of the Corites, all castes are active military personnel, except perhaps the lowest caste, whose task is to produce resources for the Cora army.

When manipulating Dark Magic, Corites acquire Summoning Abilities, allowing them to conjure something out of nothing. Thus, the Cora armies have unparalleled mobility.

Even members of the lowest caste can achieve the rank of priest if they master magical abilities better than others.

The ability to summon otherworldly creatures is exclusive to Corites. The root of this mastery lies in the power granted to them by their god Daisem. However, not all members of the race possess this deadly art – only sorcerers who have reached the highest level of spiritual enlightenment and can perceive space and the structure of the universe differently receive the gift to summon under their control the supreme manifestation of Daisem’s will – the spirit called Animus.

The headquarters of the Holy Alliance of Cora is located southeast of the Talic mines in a vast swampy lowland, surrounded by dense forest. Several separate settlements are located around the headquarters. Near the mines, there are two trade zones bordering the territories of Bellato and Accretians.
